How to Book a Lagos Hotel for Detty December

Every year, Lagos gets busy from September to December, the ember months, and the busiest weeks usually run from mid-December into early January. 1. Book earlier than you think

Rooms around Christmas and New Year go first. If your dates are fixed, book now rather than waiting. If your dates may change, choose a rate with flexible cancellation and read the terms before you pay.

2. Decide where you need to be

Many festive concerts and parties are on the Island and in Lekki. Staying on the mainland, for example in Festac Town, can be quieter and better value, but allow extra travel time, especially in the evening. Check the distance to the places you will visit most.

3. Check what is included

• Is Wi-Fi free?
• Is parking included?
• Is there a 24-hour front desk and room service?
• Can the hotel arrange an airport pickup?
• What are the check-in and check-out times, and is late check-out possible?

4. Pay safely
